Cassian Andor is a beautifully crafted story with amazing art to complement. Benjamin Percy and team transport readers to a faraway galaxy providing shortened backstory and intriguing mystery. This initial issue of a five-issue collaboration to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of Star Wars: Rogue One is a phenomenal start. Star Wars fans will not want to miss out on this story or the other four to come this summer. Read Full Review

Overall this is a tremendous issue that is extremely accessible to even the most casual of Star Wars fans. Benjamin Percy does a fantastic job capturing the feel, while Luke Ross & Mike Atiyeh do a phenomenal job capturing the look of Rogue One. If you’re a fan of the film, this is a 1 shot you’re not going to want to pass up on. Read Full Review

Star Wars: Rogue One – Cassian Andor #1 works well as an extra slice of the character’s story, delivering a mission that fits neatly into the film’s timeline. Benjamin Percy captures Cassian’s mindset and Kaytoo’s voice with confidence, while Luke Ross brings strong likeness work and atmosphere. The story does not add much to the larger narrative, but it succeeds as a focused character piece that fans will enjoy. Read Full Review

Both Rogue One and Andor are bright spots in the otherwise dreary post-Disney acquisition Star Wars landscape, and that makes this comic all the more disappointing. Percy and Ross are a really great creative team, but this issue just never really comes together. It’s fine turn your brain off Star Wars fluff, but it’s a story that never needed to be told.
