This is definitely one of the better War of the Bounty Hunter tie-in issues, and one that makes me more convinced that this massive event was worthwhile. These character arcs and stories are making the series a must-read for Star Wars fans, particularly those who want to fill in the gap between the final two Original Trilogy films and learn what caused the character shifts evident in Return of the Jedi. Next issue is probably the one I've been looking forward to most since the event started: the first meeting of Leia and Qi'ra. After that, we start a new Luke story, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what direction he goes from here. While this series and crossover have had some ups and downs for me, issues like this remind me why I love to keep following along. Read Full Review

Given the controversial explanation of L3-37's fate in Solo: A Star Wars Story, this explanation might not entirely patch things up for frustrated fans, but any attempt to smooth over those decisions is better than no attempt whatsoever. Read Full Review

This issue keeps the whole War storyline going but it almost feels like a tangent at best. Leia and her group haven't made any useful moves here and they're spinning their wheels, even if we do get to thaw the ice between them and Lando when you get down to it. It's dialogue-heavy without saying too much overall. The action side with Luke and Vader makes out better in that it's active but it doesn't feel important or like it's integral to anything. I would have preferred if Vader and Luke never came into close contact with each other between ESB and ROTJ but if they do, it needed to be better handled than this. Read Full Review

Luke still has Vader on his tail, and The Falcon crew are only slightly closer to reclaiming Han. Yet somehow, the heroes seems doubly redetermined to fight for what they know is right. They will strive to not only get their friend back, but perhaps the galaxy along with it. Read Full Review

By no means a necessary purchase but if you are a fan of Star Wars and like the old school type of story and detail on some characters you know from the films I would recommend it. Read Full Review

There really was no story progression at all in this issue. This issue was basically Lando, Leia, Chewie and Lobot getting the Falcon up and running. I did enjoy seeing Lando's emotional connection to the Falcon, or as he calls it, Elthree. Overall an enjoyable issue.
