Charles Soule does a great job with this issue. I really enjoyed the use of Amilyn Holdo as the person that delivers the news about Han to Leia. Additionally, I especially liked the callbacks to 'Solo: A Star Wars Story' as Lando recalls the events that took place when he is talking with Chewie about going on the mission. Of course this being Lando, he does have another agenda. For my money. This is the best issue of the 'War of the Bounty Hunters' story to date. Read Full Review

Overall, Star Wars #14 is an enjoyable issue. It can be read independently from the Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters crossover event and doesn't require previous readings to understand the overall plot. Soule does a good job explaining the current storyline through character dialogue. That being said, the story in this issue was mediocre. Theres not too much that actually happens. There are no battles or fight scenes, and it has a lot of dialogue. The real gem of this issue is the artwork. Read Full Review

Given how surprising and exciting the debut issue of the proper Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters series was, this serves as a good way to catch our breath while still delivering an engaging bit of exposition. Read Full Review

Overall, I'm very pleased with how this crossover is turning out and I think I'm more invested in the series than I was before the crossover started. There's going to be a lot of pressure on the rest of the story to measure up to what's come before and stick the landing, but I'm getting more and more confident that it will end up satisfying. If you are already following this series you would be on board and it does add to the story already going on the War of the Bounty Hunters plot. You dont really need to read any of the other side stories to get what is going on with this one so it is recommended. Read Full Review

The scene is set for what will almost certainly be an impressive, but ultimately futile rescue attempt. Going up against an organization once run by Darth Maul is no joke. Hans friends are very brave as the head directly for the largest den of criminal ever assembled. Read Full Review
