Kieron Gillen's first run on the main book is shaping up well with what it wants to accomplish and with the main paths coming together here, and a lot of impact from both of them still to be felt, the next installment looks to really put them in a bad place trying to survive while doing the right thing. Luke is surrounded by the Dark Side, while Han and Leia battle a city sized machine. The visuals are outstanding, but the story leaves me mixed for what happens with both groups. I couldn't stop reading this issue once I began, but I wasn't thrilled with it. Read Full Review

While I am all for a little grit in Star Wars stories, I am hoping that after issue #41, we get more of a sense of why this story is dark and not just how it is dark. Read Full Review

Five panels of a meaningful story, a worn out plot device, and pacing slower than the continent class machine creates a disappointing filler chapter in this story arc. Read Full Review

As the fourth issue in this series, this feels more about continuing the story than delivering a finale, plus Star Wars titles have a tendency to leave everything in status quo, as we know all the events ahead of them. It's a fabulous looking comic, as the art style really shows off the amazing Jedha planet, but sadly the story just doesn't go anywhere. Read Full Review
