    (Cover Date: August, 1988) Summary: After the Skrull Surfer (Bartak) defeats the real SS, he fools Nova into thinking he is the real one, then imprisons her in a refraction matrix to be delivered to his emperor. A more powerful Ronan appears & kills the imposter. Freed, Nova finds the real SS alive & well, thanks to her solar energy infusion after he was defeated, being unsure if he was the real one or not.
