    This is the first of a four-parter, and it shows no signs of slowing down. This issue might be a letdown to CrossGen fans hoping for a continuation of those tales from yesteryear, but if they stick with it, they'll discover this story is right inline with the CrossGen spirit. Read Full Review

    A pretty strong first issue. Very new reader friendly. I imagine there are some goodies here if you're familiar with previous versions of Sigil, but prior knowledge isn't necessary. And….it has NOTHING to do with Fear Itself. Isn't that refreshing? Read Full Review

    For the issue that marks the return of CrossGen under Marvel Comics, Sigil #1 is a success. It effectively establishes that the creators involved with the CrossGen properties are working to create something entirely different from the original books while keeping their spirit intact. Mike Carey has set up an interesting plot with fantastic artwork from Leonard Kirk supplementing the entire ride. I'm excited to see where the Sigil goes from here. Read Full Review

    I guess the best thing I can say here is that I'm definitely in for the long haul, but I'm really not sure how much of the CrossGen Universe we'll see.
