After a stellar first issue, issues #2 and #3 slow things way down for just one action scene, which makes you want so much more out of the book. Jan 02, 2024Rainbows She-Hulk run has had a lot going for it, albeit a tad bit slow in some regards. Theres action, like the fight between Hulk, She-Hulk, and Anathema, but the fight feels non-essential to the plot, and thats one of the biggest complaints Ive had with the book thus far. Fortunately were getting a truly fun book thats not out here trying to change the medium, its just here to be fun. And for that I thank the creative team. Read Full Review

The art is gorgeous as ever. The script doesn't do as much as most scripts in terms of plot development, but what it does do, it does almost perfectly. There is a lot of dialogue here that reveals character, moves the plot, and demonstrates memorable writing skill, all at the same time.

The best issue of this current run so far. Firstly, I'm so glad that Marvel has decided to get rid of the backup stories here. They can be good and effective when done right, but I just didn't care about the ones we got in Issues 1 & 2. As for this issue's story, though, I enjoyed it. I thought the action was nice, but the writing and dialogue is where this issue shined, especially so when Jennifer and Bruce were speaking about their experiences as Hulks.
