As for the art, the work of Gabriele Dell'Otto is reason enough to be picking up this miniseries, as it's some of the best painted work I've ever come across. His heroes have a gritty, realistic appearance and one could almost believe that this was a live action film version of the comic, delivered by a highly stylised director. Read Full Review

Another standout issue of a title hampered only by its long waits between issues. The artwork is gripping and different from anything else you're probably reading, the continuity issues don't matter - and certainly don't affect the reader's enjoyment of the story - and the writing suggests a more politically-driven story than we are used to in most comics. This series is an entertaining read, and even if it hasn't got to the meat of the story yet, there are enough interesting elements in here to suggest a lot of promise for the remainder of the series. Although there are some interesting character developments, nothing really "happens" of consequence in this issue, other than more revelations. In a such a short miniseries, unfortunately, that is a huge no-no at this point (second issue) and this looks like a bad sign as we approach the halfway point. Read Full Review

As theres been no action to speak of yet in the story, theres nothing really to distract from the shortcomings in the art. This book is a disappointment, one that would benefit greatly from competent inking and more conventional coloring. Read Full Review

The secret team roster is quite arguable. I mean, Fury knows better who he does trust, but if you know, that he brainwashed them after the operation, then it definitely makes no sense. And why did he made them new costumes, if they were still recognizable, especially Spider-Man... And most of the heroes didn't even have masks... But that's a problem of the last issue, if I remember correct. We didn't see these costumes at that point. The other problem of these costumes is gonna be that we didn't have much time to see them and they were mostly in flashbacks and these flashbacks were in black and white. Why did Gab draw concept arts of new costumes in colors then... And Logan was embarrassing here... Also, here was the first appearance of more
