Power Pack #63 is a fun trip down memory lane that stands on its own. The Marvel Legacy one-shots are off to a wonderful start. Read Full Review

This was an issue I was really intrigued to read and the results are fun and entertaining. The "voice" captured by Grayson is impressive and the series has me wanting to see more of the team in the future. YA is all the rage now and if played smart, the Power Pack could find a whole new audience and life within that genre. Read Full Review

As a potential catalyst to an ongoing title, Power Pack #63 is a solid issue that is a nice throwback to the original series, but if the team doesn't get an ongoing it will be disappointing to look back at how we didn't get a chance to see the other Power Pack members in the present. This makes Power Pack #63 a bit of a mixed bag, but hopefully this one-shot is just the start to something even greater. Read Full Review

Overall, Power Pack #63 was a fun, if insubstantial, issue. There's not much too it, but for those that crave more adventures with the Powers' kids, then this will be a good one for you. Read Full Review

Final Score: "Power Pack" #63 is pure eye-candy to take in, but narratively it's merely a serviceable throwback - one without any real stakes or ramifications. Read Full Review

Katie spins a storytelling assignment at school into a Power Pack tale. It's all in good fun, but there's a definite bittersweet overtone thanks to Alex's current "MIA with the Fantastic Four" status. Also perhaps Devin Grayson's script drills in too deep to the Katie/Alex relationship, shortchanging the team as a whole. It's a good choice to make for the integrity of the story at hand even if it might not satisfy die-hard Power Pack fans. The Rashomon effect used to parallel Katie's memories with her teacher's impressions was notably great.

I am a big fan of Louise Simonson so I read all the Power Pack stories. I had hoped that this issue would pick up where all the characters left off because I had been a fan of the Powers kids. It does give you a little bit with the revelation of where Alex Powers has been hiding. This is just a recap issue that tells the story of the Powers and some of their more memorable tales. It is told in a creative way, having Katie tell it all in a story that she had written for a collage course. The story is all we get though. There is nothing here to really promise a future for the characters which is disappointing. As hard as it is for me to say, this is a fun issue, but pointless. Even for Power Pack fans this is an issue you can skip. If you are more
