The Fly's prophecy from last issue is starting to come true...

Spidey shows the Black Cat his apartment ; she is unimpressed. He gives her some brief background on his life before he pulls off his mask. Startled, she tells him to put it back on so she can continue living out her fantasy with him. They leave the apartment to go roof hopping together. Spidey wonders if he really isn't Spidey first. They hear a scream & track down & take out some punks who mugged a couple. Spidey & Cat head off to Felicia's place while Peter's phone rings (MJ perhaps?). (Cover date: February, 1984)
