I get it now. Holy shit man. In 1 issue JMD already writes the best Vulture I've read so far. Love how we get to hear the thoughts of not only Peter but Vulture too. Love we got to see some wholesome May and MJ interactions without Peter's presence. Buscema turning up for the occasion as well

An very underrated DeMatteis story. Vulture is back but not for long. The clock is ticking for Adrian Toomes and he has some accounts to settle before he meets his end. DeMatteis writes a ruthless and vengeful Vulture but beneath that is a bitter old man with regrets. DeMatteis also shows Peter's desperation in trying to help Harry after the events of "The Child Within" and how they impacted Peter and Mary Jane. Great, great stuff!
