Bullseye is toying with the man formerly known of as Wolverine and his new sidekick Vendetta. This dynamic duo thinks they're secretly tracking the insane Bullseye, only to realize that they're being set up in a deadly game of tag. The final panel is truly shocking as Logan and Vendetta come upon"to be continued. Read Full Review

Brisson was taking the story back to another game of cat and mouse with Bullseye, which didn't go over too well the first time around. However, this new chapter of that saga moves much more quickly than its predecessor. Bullseye is painted as a much more manic version of himself, which is a nice change of pace, and Logan is joined by an ally that anyone who read Bullseye's limited solo series has been hoping to see again. After several mediocre and shaky issues, Ed Brisson brings his A game to Old Man Logan again and the results are striking. The spectacular Juan Ferreyra art in issues 43-45 is a beauty. Old Man Logan is at his best dealing with apocalyptic brutality and this is what he’s up against when Bullseye decides to go in a murderous rampage to get back at Logan for humiliating him during the misbegotten Kingpin arc. There are real stakes here, Bullseye is appropiately psychopatic and terrifying, and there are good supporting characters. Seems like Brisson wants to end his old Man Logan run in a high note.

Bullseye is after vengeance on OML, and he's dragged in his FBI agent opponent from his last miniseries, too. This is transparently a continuation of that series snuck into a different title, and it's … actually really good. Perfect pacing and high-test "tough guy" macho oozing from every pore. It is pure and shameless and a hell of a lot of fun, and I say that as someone who absolutely hates Bullseye. The art is impressively polished, although the posing and emoting skills don't quite live up to the formidable shading and layout work.
