I know a lot of other people might read this comic book and disagree, but this comic was pretty much a dream come true for ME. I implore, beg, plead, and urge anyone reading my writing to collect Nova's series. I've loved every issue of this series so far, and this issue solidified Nova as one of, if not my favorite comic book today. Read Full Review

This installment of the Nova series, just as the seventeen before it, never let up on the action, the progression of both its plot and characterization of its title hero, and ends on a cliffhanger that makes one wish that the month between issues was a great deal shorter. Read Full Review

Abnett and Lanning's flourishing niche within the Marvel Universe is about as entertaining as anything the company produces. And while this arc does suffer slightly from its inclusion in SI (as well as from featuring multiple artists), its authors never abandon the prevailing themes that make Nova consistently entertaining. I'm interested to see what Abnett and Lanning have in store post-Invasion, because this title continues to show an unlimited amount of potential. Read Full Review

That said, this book is high-octane and obviously a distant relation to Abnett and Lanning's work over on "Guardians of the Galaxy". For my first exposure to Nova and his world, I am compelled to check it out again, especially with the added wink and nod from Abnett and Lanning for dubbing the Director of P.E.G.A.S.U.S. "Gruenwald". What It All Boils Down To: This is really an obligatory Secret Invasion fill-in issue. I don't think I'm the only one who's had enough of the Skrulls now. The appearance of some semi-familiar aliens at the end of the book hints at a return to cosmic themes. Keep your fingers crossed. Read Full Review

I never thought I’d be so happy that Worldmind was alive again after his shutdown on Obrucen, and I definitely did not see that Wendell Vaughan plot twist coming
