FEAR ITSELF TIE-IN! Hel ain’t a bad place to be…unless it’s been overrun by forgotten horrors and ancient gods, clamoring to swallow all creation. Then it kinda sucks. While the events of Fear Itself tear the world apart, Dani Moonstar has followed the calling of her Valkyrie blood to the Viking underworld to save the queen of the dead. Can the rest of the New Mutants make it to Hel in time to save her and the souls of Valhalla from total Oblivion?

Sep 28, 2011Well, on the plus side, Nate was in the comic. On the negative side, I really don't care for this storyline... But hey, I'm NOT going to complain because of the fact that Nate was doing stuff in this issue. Am I biased? Hell yes I am! Gimme a sucky storyline with Nate sword-fighting some fools and complaining about Sunspot and I'm happy. See, I AM easy to please! But seriously, here's hoping this storyline ends next issue... Sep 28, 2011I feel like this series is lagging a bit behind in terms of Fear Itself, as it's just getting to the meat of its story when the main book is almost done wrapping up. I can see New Mutants' tie in ending with the next issue (hopefully), and getting back to the "good stuff." With X-Men: Regenesis on the horizon and the New Mutants joining Cyclops' team, I hope they're put to better use than they are now. Read Full Review
