    Comic Book Resources - Doug Zawisza

    The penultimate issue of "War of the Marvels" may seem like a headscratcher at first, but this issue sets the stage nicely for what appears to be one explosive conclusion. I'm not one-hundred percent certain who's who in this book, but I am certain that I am enjoying this book quite a bit. Reed is making this character a character to care about. Read Full Review

    Reed has yet to run out of ideas for identity switches in this new series of setbacks for the title character (whoever that may turn out to be). Briones replaces Sana Takeda (who only does the cover), and his style of exaggerated anatomy this month recalls Brett Blevins (in a good way), but with a grungier paint job. His work fits the tone of Reed's potentially confusing story, giving each raving blonde her own distinct identity. Karla's glee at tossing people out of windows might be the most terrifying sight in the whole story. Read Full Review

    "War of the Marvels" is turning into something of a disappointment, with an increasingly silly mystery, seesaw visual quality, and at least one growing example of shoddy characterization. But there are other areas where this arc continues to impress, and I'm holding out hope Reed can pull everything together for the big finish. Read Full Review
