This is the Miles Morales I can get behind. He is just a kid still trying to do the right thing. All the while occasionally taking some time for himself to do teenage stuff. Love it. The big thing is that we finally got away from the clone Saga mess. The dialogue is just as campy as I need a Miles Morales book to be. This might be the first book in a long time, where all the stories were pretty good. Its not anything heavy in plot or deep but, its a fun book that is typical Miles.

This was all solid. I have this worrying feeling that Saladin Ahmed has these big arcs in mind, and then the rest is just made up on the spot. It seems like the issues in-between the big arcs are always very low on plot.

I guess I'm the odd man out. Normally I have no problem with a shortage of plot development in this title, but this anthology was the straw that broke my camel's back. No great faults in these strips (except the heinous slang in the c-strip), but also nothing that rendered them non-skippable.
