Mar 12, 2008As I mentioned earlier, it's hard to recommend picking up the issue blindly unless you're already collecting, or a huge fan of one of the creators or characters in the book. It isn't bad, but at this point, you would have missed 50% or more of three stories. Next issue would look to be a good jumping on point, since you will have 50% of the stories either one and done or beginning. To an outside observer, it would seem that Marvel Comics Presents needs some kind of a hook to keep bringing in new readers, whether it's using an exclusive superstar Marvel creator inside each issue, or some kind of story that ties more closely to events like Secret Invasion.
