This continues to be my favorite book. I have so many theories on what is going to happen with legion. I really think legion will be the head of the x-men team that rise up against Mr sinister, Xavier and beast. The writing in this book continues to be absolutely phenomenal as does the artwork.

Now that it's found its feet and quietly reduced the cast size, this series is coming together quite satisfyingly and is everything I'd hoped it would be, though Netho Diaz's Jim Lee knockoff style abandons a lot of the clarity and detail that made things like Nemesis's mushroom-hair work when Bazaldua or Quinn drew it

Si Spurrier's mind is just crazy, where is all this coming from and I just I sure as hell don't know where it'll end up. So many threads, so many arcs, Legion of X is a bang for it's buck. Also Netho Diaz's artwork and how wordy Spurriet's scripts are make this book feel right out of the 90s. It's very FUN.

There's a fascinating story (slowly) unfolding here, and the script has a nicely-orchestrated structure. And good god, the art is beautiful. But oy, the vocabulary! I credit the author with smoothly translating so his ideas are clear even if you skip the MEGO words -- but that just drives home that they're unnecessary showing off. I like it and I think it's a good comic, but I could 100% understand a reader shouting "pretentious git!" halfway through and throwing it down in disgust.

I think this is the strongest issue of the series yet when it comes to its own, continuing story. The previous issue was my favorite issue of the series as a whole, but it was also a tie-in with the Judgment Day event. Here, this issue is possibly the most focused yet and it's really enjoyable. Spurrier writes a good Nightcrawler, as usual, and I found the stuff with Legion, Blindfold, Cypher, and Warlock to be pretty interesting as well. One other improvement I noticed was with the art. Jan Bazaldua is a solid artist, but her art wasn't my favorite in this series. I liked Diaz's art here, as I thought it fit the story better. I'm glad he has, seemingly, become the new artist for this series.
