Kingpin #3 is doing everything right by telling a personal tale, all seen from the perspective of an outsider. It may not be the Daredevil or Kingpin series that some fans would want, but it's absolutely the one which is needed. It's definitely worth reading. Read Full Review

Ben Torres' art actually makes Fisk seem creepy, as he's often the figure on the page who looks out of place among normal people. It's unsettling, but effective. Now if only the star of this book had a bigger role in it. Read Full Review

I'm blown away by this book. Sarah Dewey is a strong female character who's world is turning upside down. Matthew Rosenberg continues to deliver an intriguing story. He makes Wilson Fisk an intriguing and complex character that I root for. Ben Torres art really makes the book come to life.

You thought this title was gonna be Daredevil vs. Kingpin with Sarah stuck in the middle? Wrong! Have a Kingpin/Tombstone gang war instead! I have huge respect for Matthew Rosenberg for taking some cliched scenarios and making them fresh again through sheer storytelling effort. Ben Torres's art also comes into its own. It's solid throughout and when this issue explodes into a fight at the end it gets truly stellar. I love the way Wilson Fisk is a little larger-than-life not only in terms of size but also cartoony animation. It's subtle but it makes a difference, and it keeps the focus firmly centered on him whenever he's on-page.
