It paints him as a bona fide hero and brilliant industrialist, and goes a long way in repairing the character sabotage that's still occurring even today in certain parts of the Marvel Universe. Sep 02, 2008There are one or two omissions from the story - Pepper doesn't really get much attention despite the revelation of her new powers last issue, and the simultaneous terrorist attacks on the various different Stark facilities seem to grind to a halt once the big fight starts - but for the most part, this is a very solid, satisfying read that also shows just how strong a character Iron Man is as a result of the changes that his character has gone through over the last few years. Sep 04, 2008Invincible Iron Man #4 was another unimpressive read. I do not even think that the shallow story that Fraction delivers even qualifies for fun and entertaining mind candy like other action and adventure themed comic books on the market. Still, I would imagine that if you enjoy action packed issues and do not care about getting much in the terms of a quality story then you will probably enjoy this issue. Obviously, if you like Fraction's style of writing then you will also probably enjoy this issue. Read Full Review
