The Weekly Crisis - Ryan Schrodt

This issue was ridiculously close to being a Must Read, but fell just short, mostly due to its inaccessibleness to new readers at a time when there might be an influx of unaware newbies and the super thin plot of the backup. However, when you've got two artists that really bring their Agames, it goes a long way. Pelletier and Stegman's work are worth the purchase price alone. Read Full Review

This issue's a lot of fun. In fact, it's almost good enough to lure me into checking out the rest of the event's titles. Read Full Review

But as long as you either don't give a hoot about Shulkie or ignore the backup, you'll find much to enjoy in this issue. Fall of the Hulks is having a very positive effect on the franchise as a whole, and nowhere is that more evident than with this series. Read Full Review

I haven't even touched upon the deviousness of the Leader, who is also prominently factored into the gist of this story. Pak's and Pelletier's contributions to the "Fall of the Hulks" storyline begins with a bang, and promises to offer a great deal more in months to come. Pelletier reeled me in to reading this issue, the rest of the creative team has guaranteed I'll be back for more. Read Full Review

Incredible Hulk #606 was an entertaining read. Honestly, I had low expectations for this issue and did not expect for this story to hook me. I was incorrect. Pak delivered a balanced read that should appeal to a wide ranger of readers. Now, I have not read any of the other Fall of the Hulk issues, and I have not been a fan of Jeph Loeb since he came over to Marvel. Therefore, I am hesitant to recommend Fall of the Hulks as a whole. However, I can say that Incredible Hulk #606 was a good straight up super hero story. I will definitely come back for the next issue of Incredible Hulk. Read Full Review
