Sep 06, 2017Despite a series of weak artists, Christina Strain continues to craft a compelling character piece with some of the X-Men's c-listers. Really looking forward to next month's X-heist! Read Full Review

Sep 09, 2017Another awesome writing and character development from Christina Strain. I enjoyed the relationship she is building between Hindsight, Kid Omega and Morph. The best part is how she can write Jubilees character development very well. The way she is handling & writing Jubilees fear/self-doubts and concerns added depth to the characters maturity as a mentor to the kids and her struggle as a single mother. Kodas art was the cherry on top of the cream. With his quirky style and very expressive art, I ended up enjoying the flow of the panels and relating to each character in the book with ease. Sobreiros coloring was still perfect for the quirky art style and added the right mood for each scene. I especially enjoyed how he colored and set the mood when Jubilee and Chamber were patrolling around the park at night and how the mood shifted to being classy during the auction scenes. Sep 07, 2017I suppose it's a fairly typical X-Men book, but as I'm not a typical X-Men fan, I'm sad to say this book just doesn't seem to be for me. Read Full Review

Sep 06, 2017Generation X #6 artwork by Eric Koda and Felipe SobreiroGeneration X #6 really raises its game for me, so I am back on board but I'm still wary. There's still a number of issues I have with this series, but I am intrigued to see how this will develop going into Marvel Legacy now. Read Full Review

Quentin Quire shanghais Nate and Ben into Shenanigans at their friendly local supervillain auction. Eric Koda's art does an impressive job of fusing some strong anatomy and natural posing with inventive layouts that echo Amilcar Pinna's weird style. Pity the linework is so uniform - but that, too, is a choice designed to keep this title's visuals consistent. Christina Strain's found an excellent balance of plot and characterization by trimming the roster again; I'd much rather see a deep dive like this than some shallow attention spread across the whole team.
