Comic Book Resources - James Hunt
Feb 21, 2011Overall, then, "Generation Hope" is fast succeeding at molding a group of all-new characters into interesting additions to the X-Men stable, and this issue emphasises their unique qualities and sets up the directions they'll be heading in, both individually and as a team. If the three issue fight scene the book opened with made you worry about the book's pacing and balance, this issue should allay those fears. In many ways, it reads like a first issue. With the status quo established, we can now look forward to seeing some stories told in it. Read Full Review

The Weekly Crisis - Ryan Schrodt
Feb 22, 2011For every step forward that this issue takes, it takes several steps back. I have faith that Kieron Gillen can do some really great things with these characters, but I'm not sure how much longer I want to stick around to see what these things are. With greater focus in both the writing and the art, this would be a dynamite book, but as it stands, it just isn't living up to its potential. Read Full Review
