Future Imperfect #1 is another excellent Secret Wars tie-in issue. If you like classic super hero romps then definitely check this title out. You will get treated to an excellent blend of action, adventure and humor. This is a fun issue and is worth the cover price. Read Full Review

Future Imperfect #1 offers a nice bit of alternative reading from the typical Secret Wars tie-in. Just like most of the other tie-ins, this issue focuses on a dystopic world, a cruel leader, and the rebellion. But in Future Imperfect's case, we at least get the other point-of-view. "Future Imperfect" #1 succeeds because the script is tight and the setup is one that actually bears a revisit. No one writes the Hulk quite like David, and his rendition of an evil future Hulk is one of his most lasting contributions to the mythos. I'll definitely be back for issue #2. Read Full Review

Even though this wasnt my favorite Secret Wars tie in, I still enjoyed it. If you are a Hulk fan this may be right in your wheelhouse, as one of the creators with a seminal run on the character returns to these characters. Ill leave you with this, Maestro is one intimidating dude. Read Full Review

"Future Imperfect" is a comic book that caters to the long-time Hulk fan. There really isn't a strong tie to Secret Wars and there isn't a ton of characters that overlap with the regular Marvel Universe (however that could change). The comic has a decent enough story that sets up the identities of the main players but doesn't really explore any of their personalities. The artwork has a lot of odd facial expressions but provides a couple of nice splash pages. Generally this is a decent comic book that is worth a look through. Read Full Review

I'll admit, I've never been a huge Hulk fan but the premise of the original Future Imperfect story was interesting enough to make me want to pick up this issue. Although part of the reason I picked it up was because for some reason I really liked the cover art for the Gwen Stacy variant, the issue was not half bad. Pretending to be Odin to infiltrate a rebellion was clever writing and the fact that we have an impending Thing vs. Hulk SmashClobberfest sounds exciting. Sure I may pick up issue #2.

Solid issue here. Clever twist and solid art. Middle of the pack Secret Wars tie-in. The Maestro has potential to be a great character. Would love to see him brought in the main story.
