    Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison

Falcon #6 kicks off a promising new arc for the series. Misty is back and as badass as ever, Falcon is still a great lead, and the art is gorgeous.Rodney Barnescontinues to kill it with this series. This one comes highly recommended. Give it a read. Read Full Review

Lastly, the best thing about this issue is that we may have gotten the deepest look into the Sam Wilson"Misty Knight relationship yet and I'm here for all of that. Let's see this relationship become healthy and stable"by superhero standards"and flourish by any means necessary. Read Full Review

Falcon #6 is the start of another story with potential as we have another opportunity to further explore the person we know as Sam Wilson. The best thing about a solo book like this is the ability to see what these characters have to offer on their own, and at the same time it is also what can come off addressing the importance of the person behind the mask. Not that readers will need any additional incentives to try this book at this point in the story arc, but the fact that Misty Knight enters the story here and that her history is neatly packaged for folks unfamiliar with her Black girl majesty, simply makes this book and the entire series that much better. For readers (or film goers) who may think of the Falcon as a derivative character by nature " or creation, this series is being written in a way to deliberately disabuse us all of that notion. Comics: The Gathering - Charles Martin

Falcon launches into his second story arc with a spookier, more serious tone and a more modern pace. There's a tiny twinge of disappointment in saying goodbye to the over-stuffed scripts of previous issues. We've got cool vampires and interesting supporting cast developments to look forward to - but I worry that this title's unique, idiosyncratic voice might be slipping away. Read Full Review

At the start of its second arc, nothing in Falcon improves, and what little charm there was is lost to some exceedingly disappointing decisions. Read Full Review
