Sep 03, 2008If anything, sequences like these demonstrate why the book as a whole isn't quite as good as it could be. The ending page strives for a campy pulp tone that would suit the series well if it were employed more thoroughly. With any luck, the Knaufs will come to this realization. It took them a while to come into their own on Iron Man, and by the end of their run it had become one of Marvel's best books. There's no reason why the same can't happen for Eternals.
