    While the Instrumentality invades the Monarchy's throneworld, Jewelworld, Dreadstar confronts Vizier Z in the palace & is overcome when a cyborg King Gregzor strikes him from behind. While Dreadstar is strung up, Z reveals that he is a Zygotean who survived the destruction of the Milky Way one million years ago & seeks vengeance against him. He tells Dreadstar that he will be killed by a nuclear bomb in one hour. Before that happens, a ship is shot down overhead & lands where Dreadstar & the immobilized Gregzor were left.
