  (Cover Date: January, 1988) Summary: Vanth is sent on a mission to check up on a science agent that Oedi has lost contact with. The agent was looking for information to find war criminals. Vanth finds her alive but a village & its people destroyed. The agent had unintentionally rematerialized the pyro-kinetic war criminal, Malchek, from a teleportation unit. Vanth must figure out how to kill Malchek while avoiding being burned to death.
