    A wizard hold Gargoyle at his command to fight against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Cloud changes into a man & professes his love for Moondragon. After Gargoyle transports the Wizard to Colorado, the Defenders come to find him & are met by a giant menacing Gargoyle. (Cover date: October, 1984)
