The Defenders have moved to Angel's Aerie since their brownstone was destroyed by the Secret Empire's robots. With Moondragon having learned the location of the Secret Empire's base from Cloud's mind, the Defenders attempt an assault. The Defenders are overcome by a strength & mind sapping device & the Secret Empire's forces. Professor Power tells them that he is going to get his revenge on Xavier by having the Defenders kill off the New Mutants. (Cover date: February, 1984)
