Deadpool Killustrated #3

Deadpool is awesome. In this issue, Deadpool ranks up a tremendous body count. Even though some of the kills happen off screen or in the past, it must be around a hundred or so. It's also the quality of the destruction that matters. And boy does Deadpool know how to do a job with gusto. Even when he requires help, he seems like a no-caring-do-it-all-or-go-home kind of guy. With a more realistic artistic style, this book makes a bigger impact on the eyes than the previous issues. However, not much has changed in the story department, with this ridiculous premise finally nearing completion. While the writing is good, the idea isn't really up to par, causing this issue to suffer pretty heavily from an overabundance of violence and a lack of anything else substantial. Read Full Review

While the art is over the top and the Merc's signature quips are there, Cullen Bunn's plot is too distracting. To put it bluntly, it raises too many silly questions about "ideaverse" travel. Read Full Review
