Jul 04, 2017DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE AGAIN #1 is an exciting alternate reality tale featuring the Merc With A Mouth. Writer Cullen Bunn and artist Dalibor Talaji create an engaging tale about a hero slaughtering Marvel heroes against his will. Read Full Review

Jul 13, 2017Enjoy this series for what it is, a What if? style story that happens outside Marvels mainstream continuity. Looking for a self-aware and self-deprecating comic that breaks all the rules? Here it is. Read Full Review

Jul 10, 2017Deadpool returns to kill everyone again and the title doesn't necessarily feel like a directfollow up to the initial mini-series its spawned from, just another go aroundwith the same concept. If you're a truered blooded Deadpool fan Im sure this may be something you find enjoyment inbut a casual Marvel reader will get more bang for their buck elsewhere. Read Full Review

Jul 06, 2017If you are a fan of recent Deadpool comics, I'm sure you'll be pleased with this issue. The tease we're left with at the end does provide some tantalizing intrigue. As I finished the book I was left with a familiar feeling. I thought if only he had not already killed the Marvel universe once before, then threatened to come after all of us, there may be a bit more sizzle for this series. Read Full Review

Jul 06, 2017So, while I was disappointed with what I view as wasted potential for a first issue, I'm looking forward to see how Deadpool dispatches our favorite heroes in the weeks to come. Read Full Review

Jul 06, 2017Writer Cullen Bunn and artist Dalibor Talajic reunite as the Merc With a Mouth slaughters superheroes, but whereas their previous series had a hard metatextual bent as Deadpool rebelled against the sadism of his comic book makers, this arc feels a little too simple, as Wade is simply mind-controlled into thinking he's killing superheroes. Jul 05, 2017Given how well the original Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe has sold for Marvel, you can't really blame the publisher for returning to that well. But that does nothing to change the fact that this follow-up reads like a pointless, derivative rehash of a formula we've seen too many times already. Only hardcore Deadpool fanatics need apply. Jul 05, 2017Overall, this"this is not a great story. If you feel the need to see what it would look like if some of your favorite Marvel heroes die " even then, it lets you down, as most of the big names from this issue were killed off screen, and others get little more than a panel's depiction. To reiterate an earlier point: This book is just unnecessary and ugly. There's really just nothing here for readers above the age of 12. If you like violence you'll be disappointed. If you like compelling stories you'll be disappointed. If you like superhero fights you'll be disappointed. I'd avoid this book if at all possible. Read Full Review

Deadpool is getting mind-controlled into quite a lot of hero murders. Can an all-star detective squad take him down? The most promising part of this story is the least-expected one: The detective squad is surprisingly well-written and their chemistry is fascinating. The "Deadpool killing heroes" content, though, leaves a lot to be desired. We've got a shockingly high body count but the number of *memorable* deaths is low. And for an AU Deadpool book, the fourth wall is remarkably solid so far. The "From Zagreb With Love" art team (Dalibor Talajic and Goran Sudzuka) plays some nice stylistic tricks to distinguish Deadpool's POV from our view of the "real" world, but they are a little too successful at making that real world look ugly and gri more

This comic is the embodiment of everything wrong with Marvel right now. I'm a huge Deadpool fan so I thought I'd give it a try. It was pure trash. I figured it was an obvious cash grab, but I was hoping it might be a fun, creative take the second time around. I was dead wrong. Bunn's Deadpool is nowhere near as good as Duggan's and just adds fuel to the fire for people who perceive Deadpool as being an annoying, useless character.

Holy hell. I just finished this series and it's gone on too long. I don't just mean this mini, I mean Cullen Bunn writing Deadpool. He needs to stop. These Deadpool Kills books are just terrible. Back in black was terrible. Secret Secret wars was terrible. They're not so much stories as they are amalgamations of bad writing. No more BunnPool. Ever.
