"In Between Worlds" Deadpool teams up with Deadpool (well...Deathwish) in this alternate reality doppelganger extravaganza! The trip to a perfect world continues here from last month's Spider-Man Annual and features occasional attempts at serious subplot storytelling with guest stars Spider-Man and Hulk. But nothing is as it seems and all will be revealed!

A Comic Book Blog - Victor Kutsenok

The explosions and action looked great. Spider-Man in a cape was strange and I for one am not a fan. I can't wait to see how this ends in the Incredible Hulk Annual next month which I will be picking up. Read Full Review

I really enjoyed this one... Like a lot. Granted, my review for it was crap, but don't let that fool you, this was a great comic. I'm actually enjoying this entire storyline. It concludes in the Invincible Hulks Annual next month, and you can be SURE I'll be picking up a copy! Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - George Chimples

    May 11, 2011

This annual is good, not-so-clean, fun comics reading. The only people who won't like this are people who just don't like Deadpool, but it should appeal to all others. Of the three annuals, I was least interested in the Incredible Hulks one, but the last page reveal got me excited even for that. Layman's funny, nuanced work on Chew is in a similar vein to this annual, and I'll be really pleased if he can do more writing for Marvel in the future. Read Full Review

    Population Go - Sam Hawkins

Overall, this annual is a fun read. An accessible stand-alone story, Acker and Blacker also fill in a gap regarding Deadpool's fragmented mind, whilst also providing a lot of laughs. After reading this, I definitely hope that Wade and Madcap cross paths again soon. Read Full Review

    Comics Bulletin - Jamil Scalese

    May 06, 2011

This was not extremely disappointing, but nothing worthy to rush to the store for. A borderline buy, but if you like Layman and/or alternate universes, it might be worth grabbing. I may be in for the Incredible Hulks annual. Banner as the Sorcerer Supreme sounds somewhat entertaining. Read Full Review

It's not for everyone, but Deadpool fans should get exactly (no more, no less) what they expect. Worth a look. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - James Hunt

    May 09, 2011

And when the driving force of the changes appears to be a result of the difference between "our" Spider-Man and this one, maybe it's ultimately no surprise that a Deadpool Annual is left with very little to say on the matter. Read Full Review
