I just read this comic in the year 2017. It has aged well and is a very good first issue. A lot of pressure is already on Matt as soon as the issue begins, and by the end he has a whole other world of problems. I can't wait to see where this series goes.

Siamo in una chiesa, Murdock preso da sconforto e nostalgia per la mancanza della sua Karen sta per confessarsi quando attraverso i suoi superpoteri capta il battito accelerato di una giovane donna con un neonato fra le braccia che sta scappando da due ceffi. IL diavolo interviene eppure la ragazza riesce a far perdere le sue tracce. Più avanti si ritroverà nello studio dell'avvocato affidandogli il bambino, dicendo che sarà il nuovo Cristo e che è venuto per salvarci a tutti: non finge, è convinta di ciò che sta affermando. Qualcuno vuole quel bambino,. Murdock non sa come comportarsi. Disegni SUPER. Storia intrigante.

Not a huge Kevin Smith fan, but I cant deny how great this first issue is and how quickly it grabbed my attention. Loving the symbolism, characters, and ideas so far.

Not a bad beginning of the arc, but could be better, I believe. All in all I didn't read this story since I bought it like 8 years ago, but now I'd like to go even further and read the Bendis stuff from here. I hope it's cool.

I do like it when comics have a religious element to them, like Matt seeing a priest, but the narrating is just horrendous on so many levels
