Beautiful. That about says it all. This is without question the most impressive piece of work out this week. Read Full Review

To call this issue confusing would be letting it off easy, as even when one makes the effort to follow David Mack's work, the simple truth of the matter is that the material isn't all that interesting either. Now I realize that we need to be reintroduced to Echo, but one would think that David Mack would realize the value of playing up the more interesting aspects of the character. I mean this issue does a woefully poor job of filling newer readers in on Echo's abilities, as instead the book devotes its energy to delivering what has to be one of the most ponderous trips down memory lane that one could inflict upon the reader. I mean essentially David Mack has told us that Echo was born deaf, and she learned how to view the world in a new way thanks to this handicap. I wish I could rate this higher than a 10 in fact I will I give it a 20! David Mack is my absolute favorite his artwork is stellar it's original it's beautiful and it really speaks to me it tells a story even if there wasn't any words. His writing is equally brilliant he writes like he is painting a picture with words. In my opinion it simply doesn't get better than a David Mack book

It's... This is art, no doubt about it. But still, I think it's too much sometimes. It was really hard to read on some pages. And it's not like there was much to read. It could easily be summarized in several sentences. But somehow I kinda liked it. Kinda.

I loved David Mack's original Daredevil story where he introduced Maya Lopez but this doesn't feel the same. At least she's not waiting in limbo for someone to do something with her though
