Few other comics feature so much action in one issue, let alone an entire arc. This arc has already been placed on my list for early candidates for Best Villain and Best Story and with good reason. Definitely a must read comic. Read Full Review

Captain Britain continues to amaze me every issue. It's even reached the point that I not only don't hate Blade as a character, but I might even like him a bit at this point. He's being set up for an even bigger push after the events of this issue. Still, don't mention Blade at all when pushing this title to friends. They'll think it's a trap (I know I would). Don't even mention the story at all. Go with the classic but simple "Just read it." You won't win any debate contests with that dazzling piece of rhetoric, but it just may work in the end. I don't doubt that Cornell's team will bounce back from Dracula's attack in some shape or form, but I'd be lying if I said I could predict where the story was going to go from here. In a marketplace full of derivative, repetitive storytelling, that's quite a selling point, and one that ensures that readers are bound to come back for more next issue. Read Full Review

There's very little left to say about "Captain Britain." The critical success might not have been matched by the title's sales, but at least we can be sure that even if the book's sales have failed, the members of creative team have not. If there's any silver lining, it's that Cornell will be free to bring his finely honed writing to other, more popular books. Read Full Review
