Jun 06, 2013Though it features some fun conflict and solid characterization, this is largely a forgettable installment of Cable and X-Force. The book developed a strong sense of direction and pacing in recent months, but it did seem to languish quite a bit in its first arc. Now isn't really an ideal time to be dealing with filler stories. Marvel Disassembled - thepuremood
Jun 06, 2013Overall, even the ingenious use of Purple Girl and Mastermind can't push the issue past merely efficient. It's a shame we had to have a filler issue so early in the series run, especially one that didn't really move any of the characters forward, but it's still mildly entertaining, and worth reading if the Messiah Complex didn't fill you with enough Hope for the next few years.
