The action and intrigue continues in the latest issue of Black Widow. Chris Samnee, Mark Waid, and Matthew Wilson have made this one of my favorite books to read month after month. Black Widow is getting the attention she deserves, and it's all presented in a great package. If you haven't been reading this series, do yourself a huge favor and rectify that. Best of all, this issue makes a very substantial leap forward in Nat's ongoing quest to clear her name. Under a lesser creative team, that sudden leap forward might have seemed abrupt and unsatisfying, but Mark Waid and Chris Samnee remain in total control of their story. Read Full Review

The conclusion to this arc succeeds an abundance of achievements that other comics all too often don't. It throws a curve ball at our expectations for the climax and still makes it compelling despite its lack of action. It creates suspense and a satisfying closing even with the addition of mystery to it. That only increases our appetites for more espionage from this dangerous redhead. Fortunately this series isn't being cancelled post Civil War II. This collaborative team cannot be praised enough, everything they've touched has turned into gold and Black Widow is no exception. Outstanding first 2/3 of Black Widow 6 which pit Natasha against Tony now that Weeping Lion revealed Natasha originally kidnapped Yo for Wong-Chu. Natasha’s deception of Tony late in the issue was probably my favorite part yet. Unfortunately, Natasha’s final confrontation with Weeping Lion and his brother at the end was very rushed and unsatisfying
