Comic Vine - Tony 'G-Man' Guerrero

Nathan Edmondson and Phil Noto continue to impress. Black Widow's tale against Chaos takes a strange turn. Before that can be fully explored, we get a flashback into Natasha's youth. We're familiar with her past but it was a nice treat seeing her before she was completely affected by her time in the Red Room. With Secret Wars coming up, the future of this series is uncertain. Let's hope there's plenty more Black Widow adventures by Edmondson and Noto to come. I can't get enough of this book. Read Full Review

The Latest Pull - Cory Bishop

If I were to pick an issue to get somebody to read, this book this would be it. This issue shows off the amazing writing and art that this creative team has to offer, while basically having a stand alone story. I love the continuation of Natasha's struggle to be something that she's not. As a child and as an adult. There are still a lot of questions concerning the Chaos organization, but I have a feeling that those questions will be answered. Black Widow continues to amaze me, I can hardly wait till next month. Read this book. Read Full Review

    Comicosity - Draven Katayama (loudlysilent)

    Mar 19, 2015

This is a hinge issue: we get a big reveal about Chaos, the mysterious organization that has been terrorizing Natasha's life, and the issue ends with Natasha needing to make major choices. Noto's first two pages of this issue raise the bar of what we call beautiful in comics art. This is a lush, imaginative, and moving issue by Noto and Edmondson of Natasha's tragic childhood journey. As a character study, this issue is one of Edmondson's most successful. The art is predictably fantastic as well. Read Full Review
