The Weekly Crisis - Kirk Warren

This is easily the best Black Panther I have ever read and a superior secret invasion than the actual Secret Invasion event. Cannot recommend this enough. Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - J. Montes

I know a lot of other heroes in the Marvel Universe have been duped by these Skrull happenings, but the way she's duped is just awful (and almost as stupid as Logan not killing Mystique *ahem*). Having Ororo be a damsel in distress is a cop out. How could the former leader of the X-Men be played so easily? It's just plain stupid. But hey, you can't win them all. Pick this one up for the battles and just to know why Black Panther is such a bad ass. Read Full Review

Unfortunately, as much as I'm enjoying this story, I do have to question its importance. This arc is similar to Secret Invasion: X-Men in that it really doesn't need more than a single, oversized issue to tell its story. Both books are extremely well-crafted, but neither really amounts to anything more than entertaining fluff in the end. However, the sheer novelty of having a decent Panther arc should be incentive enough for most readers. Read Full Review

Comics Bulletin - Mark J. Hayman

On the whole, this is pretty much what one would expect from what is, essentially, a war comic. The story is pushed forward incrementally and the extent of alien infiltration is revealed as greater than probably imagined. Certainly T'Challa and Ororo believed that they had a handle on the situation, to their chagrin. Pretty in places, bloody in others. Excitingly average! Read Full Review
