Oct 12, 2022As far as this story ties into the event, it does its job. Both characters get judged and must undergo a trial as they are tested. At this stage, it's a bit early to tell if either will matter in the event's finale, but if you are even slightly interested in Loki or Iron First, give A.X.E.: Iron Fist #1 a shot. Read Full Review

As an AXE tale, it's got nothing to do with it really. As an Iron Fist tale, it was fun! Enjoyed the relationship between Loki and Lin and omg I want them to be together :O Fun issue with some fun character work and fantastic, classic-style art.

There's nothing wrong with this script, but there's not much praiseworthy about it, either. The scene where Loki initially refuses to fight the dragon is probably the high point. As written, this issue could easily climb up past an "average" rating. All it would need is some good art. Bad news on that front...
