It feels like Avengers Academy just got done crossing over into a Marvel event and it's already time to do so again. Let's see what kind of role they'll play in AvX! Read Full Review

Gage's writing is completely engaging, as usual, and we like all of these people. The art from Karl Moline is also pretty sharp, doing a very good job at juggling this huge cast of characters and managing all their expressions deftly. Avengers Academy is one of the best things Marvel has going for it right now, and the fact that they can publish stories like this that completely undercut their blockbuster endeavors without fear speaks well of them. There's room for all kinds here - and there's no better illustration of that than Avengers Academy, where all kinds mingle free and relatively easily. Read Full Review

Despite the strange plotting of "Avengers Academy" #28, I do think Gage clearly gets the Runaways cast and if a new "The Runaways" comic ever started I'd be pleased if Gage was in charge. It's a nice glimpse into what these characters have been up to as well as an opportunity for them to appear again before long. I don't know if it'll happen or not, but I'd welcome them in this book's pages again. Read Full Review

The fact that the Avengers Academy and Runaways conflict didn't end in a huge fight shows just how different Avengers Academy is from its sister titles
