A diverse collaborative team comes together to offer us three distinctly creative stories of Spider-man around the world. Each story offers a nice look into different parts of the Spiderman universe, which comes beautifully together. Read Full Review

My expert opinion/advice (which is always right 50% of the time): Amazing Spider-man Annual #1 isn't perfect, but plenty good enough that everyone will find something they like. Overall, while this annual isn't a must read it's still a fun read. I wouldn't recommend paying the full cover price of $4.99 for this unless you're a Spider-Man completist. Best bet is to watch for this one to show up in the bargain bins at your local comic shop or convention. Read Full Review

Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 4) Annual #1 is a bit of a mixed bag, which should come as no surprise as the contents contained within couldn't be a more randomly selected group of tales to tell. While there's definitely entertainment to be found within this issue, and three handsomely illustrated stories, one would hope that future annual tales are assembled with more reverence towards what opportunities they could offer instead of as a dumping ground for stories with no other place to go.
