Amazing Spider-Man #574

This is easily the best thing Marc Guggenheim's ever written. The ramifications brought to the character can't be undone while the ending is noble, fitting, and agonizing. I don't really like the military theme and war related propaganda, but this is a very important story for Flash and it was done metaphorically enough to be great.
