Wow, that was cool. I like that the events of the previous arc have lasting effects. It was a good issue of Peter knowing more about his father. And that story told by his father's friend was fine. The conclusion only makes it better - Peter literally instantly had a chance to show that he learned a lesson from that story. The only thing that bothers me is Spidey doing that in front of the guy who told Peter this story only a few minutes ago. I mean, hell, the guy must be in quite a shock if he didn't instantly understand that Spidey is Peter. Also I thought this Squid villain would ruin the issue, because lol, it's just a random guy from that team of 5 new random villains. But no, he was much better this time. ess random. But it's still weird, that it was Peter father's friend who is the father of this villain. Too much coincidences, but either way, that was a solid issue overall and I love to see the quality of ASM raising before even JSM. If you just like me had a fear that after a solid Goblin arc Mackie came back to writing some boring shit - don't be deceived. It's good. more
