(Cover Date: January, 1988) Summary: After their fight with Bedlam & the Derangers, the team tries to repair the complex to block out the intense cold. Per Purple Girl's request, they go outside to find Goblyn. Goblyn attacks them & slashes Saquatch, Vindicator, Box & Manikin. Purple Girl learns Goblyn's mutant origin when she attempts to take control of her twin's mind. Goblyn calms down when Kara cries, but then AF enters the room intending to kill the creature. Kara shields Goblyn with her body to keep Vindicator from killing her. Goblyn cries when Kara says that she will protect her.
