    TheAge of Apocalypseis a story focused on human and mutant suffering versus absolute tyranny. Nicieza and Sandoval perfectly tap into everything that was great about this series and extends the established canon by finding new ways to connect the reader to the characters. Read Full Review

    The bottom line: AGE OF APOCALYPSE #3 finally gives us an idea of what the creators planned for Emma, prepares the book's finale in a very climatic way by not giving the characters some time to breathe and characterizes Magneto really convincingly.     Age of Apocalypse is still a fun ride because of Fabian Niciezas writing. It would help if the characters werent exaggerated, but were 3 issues in now and that wont change. If you can get past that, its worth a read because many of your favorite characters are well represented. Read Full Review

    No, this third issue definitely did not earn this tie in any redemption with me. It felt sluggish, disjointed and uninspired. I still love the art, and how the characters are portrayed, but I'm wondering if this story had any direction when the idea was pitched, or if they just decided to make it up as they go along.
