Honestly, I didn't expect first Man-Thing comics to be that great. I love these Doc Strange-like elements in his stories and this one was particularily cool, because now some supporting cast seems to be staying in the comic for long, plus I loved to see Man-Thing becoming Ted Sallis once again after he was transformed into monster. It's great, because you can see him accepting his fate as the monster and he really isn't a bad person at all. The problem with Man-Thing is that unlike Bruce Banner, he can't become a man again. And if, for example, the Abomination could at least retain his mind in a monster form and talk - Man-Thing can't. So after his origin, you see less and less of a man in Man-Thing.
