After Magnus escapes the mental facility with the help of Sasha and Adila, the three take refuge with FBI agent Charles Cleaver. A big mistake on Magnus's part leads to a chase around the city at the hands of Drew, Magnus's own brother, who wants to recapture Magnus and the knowledge inside his mind.

Apr 11, 2018Volume 2 of Astonisher is already off to an impressive start, with De Campi and company firing on all cylinders in terms of character and emotion. Its a far greater foundation for a book thats delving into issues of mental illness than a lot of what drove along the early issues of Volume 1. With next issue moving into training, I just hope that we get to see Magnus, Sasha, AND Adila in action. (Psst. And maybe Isabella? Because she is fantastic.) Read Full Review
