The comic itself has a broad appeal, as reflected in the cover, where elements of fantasy, adventure and horror collide. The overall product is staggering for what is in many ways, a first wavy step into a new chapter of Riftworld. Read Full Review

Riftworld Legends #1 is a solid first entry for this new series. With a gripping, adventurous, and mysterious story, this is something I can't help but suggest. Considering you can get it for free right now, there is no good reason to not go check it out. Chances are it will hook you in and I'll see you for issue #2. Read Full Review

The art is colorful and brings in a proper sense of danger and fantasy to the story. There's the standard fantasy of giant monsters, Orc-like creatures, undead skeletons, and lush tropical jungles. The series also features some well done if brief fight scenesas the two main characters in the story try to survive. Read Full Review

Riftworld: Legends #1 gives the reader surprises from beginning to end. Jonathan Williams does a great job of establishing the world of Riftworld: Legends. Daniel Wong combines a little realism in his art with some nice detail here and there. This is no generic fantasy adventure book. There's a lot in store for this book and its team.
